Thank You, Shari Botts: Celebrating Seven Years of Board Service and Leadership

Shari Botts, BSN, RN, CPHQ, C-OQNS, CIC, has announced that she will retire from the OAHQ Board at the end of this month. Over the past seven years, Shari has served in multiple leadership roles—including President—and has helped shape OAHQ’s growth and reach.

During her presidency, OAHQ joined the Healthcare Quality Collaborative (HQC), which has since expanded to nine states. This milestone strengthened OAHQ’s ability to share best practices and learn alongside quality leaders across the United States, and the HQC continues to grow as a valuable forum for collaboration.

Long before serving on the Board, Shari was an engaged member for many years and a steady source of encouragement for others seeking to grow in healthcare quality leadership. Beyond her current professional role as a Senior Clinical Quality Specialist at TriHealth, her award-winning leadership has been recognized for infection prevention efforts, and she has remained a dedicated advocate for quality and public health within her community.
